I know...It's been awhile, but here is the latest!!!

First of all, I apologize for the lack of blogging in the past two months.
Things have slowed down a bit with all the rain and mishaps of some of the workers.
We won't go into detail, but we are back up running full steam ahead.
We are hoping the cabin will be ready for move in the last of May or the latest June.
So for everyone out there checking us out...here are the latest pics!!!

It was hand crafted by a local artist. Beautiful, isn't it?

This image reflects the local terrain that originally attracted Tina and Rodger to this area.

This started out to be a surprise to Tina from Rodger, but since she has taken over the construction management, it was hard for him to keep it from her!!!!

Rodger thinks Tina is doing a "swell job" in scheduling activities to coincide directly after each other.

For Example:

The clearcoat finish was completed this morning and the cabinets arrived this afternoon!!!

Almost!

I (Jill) was able to visit for the past few days. Rodger was there and some of Tina's family.

Hi all, just a few pics to update the curious.

As I said before, Tina is in the Smokies minus Rodger and camera so these are cell phone pics.

At least, they show the progress!!!

Well, Rodger and Tina took a red eye flight and made it back home today.

First thing, Rodger went straight to the cabin and took some cell pics.

Not the best quality, but shows the progress of the place.

This is the fireplace. Looking down from loft.

The stain is on the house now. I love the color!

You can see the doors from here.
They will be painted copper to match the roof when it is put on.

January Update

Hey! As most of you know, Rodger and Tina have been in Mohave Valley.

They haven't seen how much has been done on the house since

December 29th!!!!

The contractor has been busy the last few weeks.

Thanks to our friends, Amy and Brian who stopped by the cabin on their way from Virgina to Louisana, we have the latest pics.

We only have two, but boy are the good ones!!

It's beginning to look a lot like...a cabin!!!!

Hey all! Sorry, its been awhile since I posted.

Rodger has been busy with not only the cabin, but flying back and forth to Vegas for his new job in the Mojave Valley.

However, the work continues to progress on the cabin.
